In class we did a on critique Temasek’s WSH policy. Through that excercise i know what makes a good policy. In addition it helps me to create a better policy as i was able to improve on my policy on the aspects that was missing or insufficient. By critiquing the Temasek’s policy it helps me realizes that not all policy is perfectly established. Thus there is always a room for improvement to ensure the safety of the place/ organisation. Constructive critism is a valuable tool in the workplace that allows individuals to learn and grow. This is because they can learn from the mistakes they made and improve to have a better version. From this lesson, i have learned to differentiate the better policy and the one that can be improved.

During our lesson on WSH, we did a critique on Temasek Polytechnic WSH policy and it is a great example of a proper WSH policy. This gave me a guide on what is needed for a proper WSH policy and what i can improve on the policy. By critiquing this policy, i learnt that there are still things that can be improve and add on. There may be new problems that are arising, that is why we need to improve and update the WSH policy. In conclusion, policies are not always perfect as there are many other policy to be added on. Improvement is always needed.

During our lesson, we did a critique on Temasek’s WSH policy which enhanced me in the skills of making policies. During lesson, we were thought how to craft a policy and it really helps me because I know what do i need to include while crafting a policy. After critiquing this policy, I am aware that every policy will have a space for improvement and we will have to think more in how to further enhance the policy. For example, a policy might missed the point of the safety for the people whom might went past the facility, and we need to fix it in order to craft a better policy. Hence I think that learning how to critique a policy will definitely benefits me when I am crafting a policy in the future

During lesson we did a critique on Temasek WSH policy which has helped to further improve my own policy. Through the sample policy it allows me to learn what was missing such as it was not signed by a CEO/MD and there was no date stated. After being given a guide on what should be included inside my policies, like our commitment, goals, roles etc, I was able to be more specific and direct on my policy. By critiquing of the sample policy it shows that there are always room for Improvement in a policy to establish better safety in an organisation. In conclusion, I have learn how to create a policy that is suitable for my organisation and how it can be improved and it gave me a better understanding on what needs to be included in my policy so as to better create my own policy.

During WSH lesson , we did a critique on Temesak Poly’s WSH policy which has enabled me to understand the minimum standards of making a policy . Examples of both good and bad policy was shown to me and it helped me understand what is expected . When critiquing the policy of Temesak poly , not all policy is perfect and there is always room for improvement . We must constantly update the policy as things can be improved to ensure safety is not compromised . All in all , I learnt to come up with policy that is suitable for my organisation and that I should always update my policy as there is always room for improvement .

During our WSH lesson, we did a critique on Temasek Polytechnic’s WSH policy which enable me to have a deeper understanding on making a good policy. Examples of good and bad policy was shown to me and i was able to make a comparison between them. Personally, i feel that there is always room for improvement by keeping up to date and improving the current policy regularly. We should learn from the mistakes and improvise so together we can create a safer working environment and ensure that everyone can be safe and happier. In conclusion, it is important to have a strong understanding on making a good policy so as to ensure a suitable and protective policy which can benefit all.

During our WSH lesson, we did a critique on Temasek Polytechnic’s WSH policy which enable me to have a deeper understanding on making a good policy. Examples of both good and bad policy was shown to me hence making a comparison between it. Also, we must be updated to the policy every once in a while to make sure the policy is the latest. Therefore, it is very important to have a strong knowledge on making a suitable policy to ensure it helps the organisation and also being protected which hence, benefit all.
